Our Deacon Body serves on behalf of our church members, overseeing the operation of our ministry though a prayerful servant role. As church members themselves though, Deacons don’t just sit on the sidelines and watch the ministry; they’re each involved as volunteers in the ministry in a way that serves as an example to the rest of us. In fact, each of these team members is not only nominated to the Deacon Body by other church members; they also undergo a strict selection process to affirm the many biblical attributes required of a Deacon. Because of the biblical qualifications and responsibilities, the role of a Deacon carries with it a tremendous responsibility.
