Garden Path Women's Ministry
Garden Path Women's Ministry is a lifestyle enrichment ministry for ladies in the Apalache Baptist Church family and surrounding community. Our goal is to provide ministry events and outreach opportunities that will enrich our daily walk with Christ.
Garden Gatherings are special events that take place twice annually to bring ladies together for a time of Bible study, encouraging speakers, prayer and fellowship.
GPWM sponsored retreats are a time to get away and focus on worship, Bible study, and building Christian relationships.
First Place is a weight-loss program that balances all areas of life: spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental.
Prayer Ministry focuses on lifting special needs, staff, and other ministry needs.
Ministry Opportunities are given throughout the year from within our church family and outside agencies, such as Samaritan’s Purse “Operation Christmas Child” shoeboxes.
Our prayer is that all ladies at Apalache Baptist Church can find a way through Garden Path Women’s Ministry to serve, be encouraged and brought closer to their Savior, Jesus Christ.

Watchword: Called to Love

The watchword reminds us that we should love God first, and then allow our hearts to see the needs. Areas of Mission Focus:
- Create an environment to hear and understand God's call and receive nurturing in the Call.
- Awareness of people of other cultures and languages as people whom God loves.
- Praying for all our missionaries' needs; and as they spread the Word, that others may hear about Jesus.
- Giving through our church-wide offerings: Lottie Moon IMB Offering, Annie Armstrong NAMB Offering, Janie Chapman State Missions Offering, Cooperative Program, World Hunger and others.
- Engage in Mission and Witnessing: Helping others with projects and witnessing in our community and state.
Monthly Meeting: Third Tuesday of every month, 7 p.m. at the Youth House (beside the church). All ladies of the church eighteen years old and older are invited to join us. We have a time of prayer for our missionaries; study about the work they do and their needs; Bible readings; projects for those in need; make hospital baskets for our church members that stay overnight in the hospital; light refreshments and fellowship.
